The Mandarin Explorer Course presents a comprehensive three-year curriculum tailored for children aged 1 to 4, aligning closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Specifically catering to toddlers and pre-schoolers, this programme, known as Mandarin for Early Years, offers an engaging learning journey designed to foster Mandarin language acquisition. The Mandarin Explorer Panda class is specifically designed for children aged 3 to 4, with adult accompaniment. Through dynamic activities including songs, dance, and interactive play, children delve into the world of Mandarin, guided by experienced teachers from WenLin Chinese School. Our in-house curriculum is meticulously crafted to meet the developmental needs of young learners, adhering to EYFS standards. Delivered entirely in Mandarin Chinese, the course facilitates language immersion, allowing children to rapidly absorb and acquire language skills. Parents need not worry if Mandarin is unfamiliar, as children at this age exhibit remarkable language acquisition abilities. Additionally, accompanying adults are encouraged to participate and learn Mandarin alongside their child during the sessions. Featuring ample repetition and engaging activities such as dramatisation and movement-based exercises, children quickly grasp vocabulary and language structures. Our songs incorporate lively movements like clapping, swaying, skipping, and dancing, promoting physical coordination and enhancing cognitive functions. Each lesson introduces children to 6-8 new words and 2 new Chinese characters, fostering language development and literacy skills. Research demonstrates that children under 5 years old possess remarkable linguistic capabilities, capable of mastering multiple languages. **Please note: To ensure a focused learning environment, no mobile phones or photography are allowed during the lesson sessions.
