Term Fee: £182 (Summer Term – 11 sessions) Pioneering Mandarin Classes for Pre-schoolers in London Since 2016 At WenLin Chinese School, our Mandarin Explorer Panda class is part of a unique and comprehensive three-year Mandarin immersion curriculum, thoughtfully created for children aged 1 to 4. As one of the first structured Mandarin classs for preschoolers in the UK, we’ve been guiding children’s Mandarin learning journeys since 2016. This Mandarin class is specifically designed for preschoolers (3–4 years) and aligns closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, nurturing both language acquisition and physical development through purposeful, play-based learning. Why Our Programme Stands Out * Proven Structure: Unlike ad hoc or playgroup-style sessions, our in-house curriculum provides a cohesive, progressive foundation for future Chinese learning in Key Stage 1 and beyond. * Immersive Mandarin Environment: Lessons are delivered entirely in Mandarin, allowing pre-schoolers to naturally absorb vocabulary, tone, and structure through rhythm, movement, and meaningful interaction. * Parent–Child Learning: Adults accompany their children, gaining valuable Mandarin exposure and supporting their child’s confidence and consistency at home. * EYFS-Aligned Activities: Each session incorporates songs, storytelling, dramatisation, and movement-based games, supporting communication, coordination, and early cognitive development. * Literacy Development: Children are introduced to 6–8 new words and 2-5 Chinese characters per class, strengthening vocabulary and early recognition of written Chinese.
