WenLin Chinese School has completed a second, highly successful term teaching Chinese to visiting students from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
In just eight weeks, students at Booth School of Business’ London campus progressed from total beginner level with no prior knowledge of the Chinese language, to being able to each take part in a three-minute presentation, introducing themselves and talking about their families and their interests.
Students were taught by WenLin Chinese School Senior Deputy Head Jianting Zhu. The programme scored highly among students, who said they were very satisfied with the teaching, their achievements and WenLin’s approach to language learning. The University of Chicago Booth School of Business has renewed the programme for a third successive term, with the following intake of students learning Chinese during the Winter 2023 term, from January to March next year.
The University of Chicago visiting students said: “Thank you Mrs Zhu for steering our students through an excelling Fall quarter!”
Haiyun Wang, WenLin Chinese School founder and principal said: “We were thrilled to work with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, helping students to learn and express themselves in Chinese. We can’t wait to welcome the new intake early next year.”
